Beautiful Cooper Mays NC studio pottery vase style oil lamp. Lovely splash of colors on a pale mottled yellow ground. Excellent/like new condition. If you want to use this as an oil lamp, you just need to add string to the "stopper". I think it looks best as a non-functioning accent piece. This pottery is signed Copper Mays Nc on the base. It measures 5" in height an 11 1/2" around the middle. I love the shape of this piece! Cooper Mays pottery is hand thrown and traditional Japanese bamboo brushwork is a trademark of their work. This fine pottery is only sold at their studio in in art galleries.
