Antique Staffordshire Spaniels
Large 10" pair of Early Staffordshire Spaniels. Circa 1860-1870. White with traces of gold trim, yellow eyes,
orange mouth. Each is wearing the traditional gold collar, chain and locket. These have a light all over uniform crazing,
appropriate with age. They are unsigned. There is a firing hole in the back of each. One has a small bit of a
firing/glaze skip on its ear and a bit on its chest. Both are in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, repairs or
damage. Paint wear in accordance with age. These are 10" tall x 7" wide at the base. Each weighs approx. 2 1/4 pounds.
These came out of a very old Massachusetts estate A great old pair.
