Whether you collect Royal Doulton or SEG pottery, this stoneware example is a MUST HAVE! The vase is by Royal Doulton, decorated by designer FJ (Florrie Jones). The vase is matte black and mottled purple with a simple flower design that instantly reminds me of Paul Revere/SEG pottery examples. It is in superb condition. No chips, cracks, crazing or damage. A stunning example. Measures 8 1/4" tall with a base diameter of 3". Probably circa 1912-1920 based on the marks and pattern code. Florrie Jones worked at the Doulton Lambeth factory prior to the factory becoming "Royal Doulton". She retired in 1928.
