Exquisite 13 1/4" Royal Vienna style Scenic Charger. Central design features two floating semi nudes, and a cherub. Figures are winged, and draped in flowers. Eight floral medallions surround the rim. It has a magenta and yellow background with intricate gold stencil work. The plate is transfer decorated with hand embellishments. Artist initialed "FNM". Blue beehive back-stamp and handwritten 55 in red. There are several factories that used the blue beehive mark in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The Royal Vienna Company's porcelain inspired many copies and this is probably one of them, although we do not know exactly which factory produced this beautiful charger. It is in very good condition. No chips, cracks, repairs or restoration. Only very minor paint wear. Very well maintained and ready to hang!
