This is one of the most interesting Kutani bowls that we've come across. It is an early example, signed with the two character Kutani mark. The bowl is akae (red) with gold detailing. It has a design of 4 panels on the inside, three floral and one with Gods. It measures 6 7/8" in diameter x 2" in height. The outer bowl design is particularly unusual with scrolled designs alternating between the Rising Sun. The bowl is in very fine condition, no chips, cracks or damage. The outside bottom does show normal paint wear. This is a great piece!
