Miniature Kutani Vase

This is a small ornate Kutani Vase Signed Wataya that dates between 1926-1940. (Early Showa Period). It has the typical iron red ground with delicate hand painted, gold accented details. This vase measures 5 3/4" tall with a base width of 1 3/4". The base is arched with bracket feet, has angular shoulder handles, and a rectangular rim. All four sides of the vase are intricately detailed. The front of the vase has two figures, one riding a play horse, the other holding a lantern. This is excellent condition. No chips, cracks, damage, repairs. The painted decoration is in very good condition. It is signed "Wataya Sei" of Wataya Heibei Shoten. (PC110)
