Chinese Export Teapot

Interesting old export porcelain gourd shaped teapot in yellow enamel with pink and blue flowers and gold embellishments. This has orange peel marks in the glaze and is guaranteed old!!! The spout is gold. The handle is made of twisted mesh/wire over bamboo and a wire rod. The handle loops are painted red on one side and gold on the other. Impressed character mark under the glaze on the lid. One of the porcelain handle loops has been repaired/reglued very neatly. Additionally, there is a tight hairline crack on one side of the pot that you can notice if you look very closely. It is very smooth to the touch and is quite easy to miss. The lid has irregular shaped zig zag like edges and a gold painted flower shaped knob. It measures a little over 7" long x 6" wide and stands approx. 4 1/2" tall including the lid.
