A very decorative carved soapstone koro/censor featuring a foo dog (finial) sitting on top of an intricately carved lattice-work garden stool, with a pair of teeth bearing foo dogs sitting beneath, one on either side. The central decoration is carved out of a beautiful piece of light soapstone containing multiple hues including butterscotch and gray. The base is done in a chocolate brown soapstone and is four footed. This is one of the nicest carvings of this size that we've seen. Excellent condition.
