This is a beautiful Chinese Cinnabar box, circa early 20th century. It depicts two immortals in a garden setting. Beautifully detailed on all sides. The box has a nice shape with angled sides. It measures 4 1/4" L x 2 3/4" W x 1 3/4" H. The bottom is marked CHINA in fine handwriting. Overall, this is in good condition for its age.
