This is a lovely old 4" covered bronze and champleve jar with repousse symbolized base and rim lids. The jar is footed and has four panels of champleve designs. The knob on the lid has cranes. The jar is footed and has an interesting shapely design. Hard to find these jars with the lids. A nice solid piece. Overall very nice condition. This has a small dab of solder on the cover band and some wear, expected with age, but nothing that detracts. The photos show the item in detail.
