Vintage metal outdoor/porch ceiling light, finished in an antiqued/burnished bronze color with coppery highlights. Circa 1930's or so. I think this has a nice mission/ arts and crafts look to it, although it could fit nicely with most decors. The lantern has four sides with criss cross metal braces and each has a glass panel inserted. The front has a door which can open to change the light bulb. The hinge is 5 part and brass. The socket is porcelain. The wiring looks nice and clean. The fixture measures 10 3/4" in height by 4 1/3" wide with a top mounting plate diameter of 4 1/2". It is in excellent condition. No damage or unusual wear. All of the glass panels are in place and in very good condition, apart from some very minor roughness on the edges of a couple panels. Mentioned for accuracy. Very minor. I wish we had a place for this one! This is so much nicer than the products in today's marketplace. Why buy new, when you can buy the real old thing!Free Domestic Shipping!
