For your consideration is a great pair of retro art pottery lamps by a NY designer. These have a fabulous light blue flambe finish with color striations throughout, especially near the rims, and lower quadrants. The subtle background shade variations in the glaze represents the work of a skilled artist! The lamps are vase style and mounted to decorative silver tone metal bases. They are stamped with a triangular logo that appears to read DV Art NY. The lamps measure 16 1/2" to the top of the socket (not including harp/finial). The bases measure 4 1/4" across. These art pottery vase style lamps are striking and will certainly complement most decors. They will make great bed side lamps as well. The lamps themselves are in great condition. No chips, cracks, crazing or damage. I'd replace the harps and finials, as one finial is broken, and the harps are rusty. The brass end caps show lots of age/patina which could possibly be polished up if desired. (I'd leave them as is). The base hardware is super clean and the wiring looks good. One socket looks newer than the other. Add some new harps, finials and fun shades and you will have a stunning pair of art pottery lamps!Free Domestic Shipping!
