Vintage crystal bowl mounted on ornate gilt metal base with dazzling prisms. The bowl measures just over 8" in diameter and is 4 1/4" deep. (It measures 9 3/4" in total height). The press cut glass has patterns that include daisy centered stars, fans, and crisscrosses. There is a "straw mark" in the bowl, which you often see on older pieces of glass. (There are no makers marks). In addition to its very shimmery look, it also has a very beautiful high pitched ring tone when tapped. The metal stand has scrolled feet, and 10 beautiful old prisms, 9 teardrop shaped and one octagonal shaped. All of the prisms are faceted and very reflective! The bowl and prisms are all in very fine, clean condition. No nicks, chips, scratches or damage. The stand is also in very fine condition with little to no wear. It is a heavy gilt painted metal (does not attract a magnet). The bowl can easily be unmounted from the base for cleaning.Free Domestic Shipping!
