Early Porcelain Fairing Match Stick Holder (F171)
This is an early Victorian porcelain fairing match stick or tooth pick holder. The boy is wearing a stocking cap and is well dressed, carrying a bouquet of flowers. The finish has a shiny glaze with nice paint, and some gold gilt detailing. Excellent condition. No chips or damage. Measures 4 5/8" H x 2 1/8" L x 1 1/4" W. Either German or Staffordshire. Base is solid, no air hole. Adorable!
