Lovely pair of early German porcelain figures of young girls. Both have similar coloration and style, and although they are marked differently, are probably from the same factory. The one with the red blouse has a blue anchor mark and numbered 48 in hand writing. The other figurine also has a blue anchor mark and is factory impressed "EBS" along with the number 194. These each stand approximately 5 1/2" in height. The "EBS" factory mark belongs to Rudolstadt (Germany - Saxony) and this mark was used prior to the "N" mark, up until 1900 and sometimes thereafter. The girl wearing the red blouse/green skirt is in perfect condition. The girl wearing the blue smock has a chip to the ribbon in the back. These have a very nice old world feel to them.
