This is a very decorative collection of books published by T.Y. Crowell & Co, between the years 1894-1899. The set includes 5 books, each in hardcover, with
art nouveau decorated spines, gold lettering. The titles include Columba by Prosper Merimee, Cyrano De Bergerac by
Edmond Rostand, The Light of Asia by Sir Edwin Arnold, and two copies of
Barrack Room Ballads by Rudyard Kipling. All of the books are illustrated with black and white plates, and contain over 200 pages.
The books measure 4 1/2" x 6 3/4" x approximately 7/8" thick. All are in very fine condition, with the exception of a small tear to the spine of one
copy of the Barrack Room Ballads, and some foxing to the first few pages of that same copy.
