R. Lalique France "Actina" Vase. Clear and frosted glass with a blue patina. Stenciled signature mark on base. Measures 8 5/8" in height with a top diameter of 7 1/2". This vase dates to circa 1934. Very good condition. No chips or damage. If you look very closely in the photos, you'll see some tiny little black specks in the glass throughout, from the way it was made. This vase is pictured in the Warman's Lalique book referenced below on page 114. Another reference to this fine vase is in Miller's Art Nouveau Book, p. 264, also referenced below. An Actina vase sold at Rago Arts and Auction Center in 2002, but otherwise, I haven't seen one referenced in recent searches.
