This is a super nice art glass covered compote in a color that looks similar to Steuben's Rosaline, although it is most likey not Steuben. This is mold blown glass, with an applied Flame Finial and pedestal base in a custard glass color. It is unsigned, and its maker remains a mystery to me. I've never seen another one like this. It measures 13 3/4" in total height, with a base diameter of 5 1/2". The base has a sort of convex shaped center, not a pontil. This is in superb, super clean condition. No chips, cracks, scratches or damage. The top rim of the compote has some black in the glass around the rim, made this way. This is a large and stunning piece of glass that will surely delight any glass collector.
