This is a beautiful handkerchief vase by Pairpoint for the MMA. (Made by Pairpoint for the Metropolitan Museum of Art). It is handblown and has light cranberry and white striping around the pinched form. The bottom has a small pontil mark. This is a delicate glass with a high lead content which gives it the beautiful ring tone when tapped. Excellent condition. No chips, cracks or damage. Stamped Pairpoint MMA as shown. Measures 3 1/4" tall x 4 7/8" top diameter. A great piece of American Art Glass to add to your collection. (AG117)
