Here is a signed contemporary studio art glass vase with a stemmed rose bowl shape. This art work has a tremendous amount of appeal and to me, seems obviously inspired by the early Austrian Palme-Konig Art Noveau designs. The signature is hard to make out, but looks something like "Spulock" or "Spubick", and dated 1980. It measures 6" in height, with a base diameter of 3 1/4". The base is cobalt blue and the bowl itself is a shimmery dark purple iridescent color on the inside, with an exterior that looks black and has shimmery opal colored checkerboard like designs with silver spotted squares. Very interesting. The ruffled rim has a trailed sort of design. Just fascinating.Free Domestic Shipping!
