Original signed Rudolph Bleyen sepia landscape engraving on paper entitled "In the Country". (Eur.19th/20th Century) Signed in pencil with a remarque on the lower left. ( A remarque is a small, personalized drawing or symbol that an artist adds near his or her signature on a print. ) Visible portion of print measures 10 1/2" x13 5/8" . Frame is a fine oak, nicely detailed with fancy edge work, and a gold beaded inset. It measures 14 1/4 x 17 1/4" . Print has some smudging to signature and overall light discoloration to the paper, not to the engraving. Small tear in left margin. Would be better matted.
