Old Nymphs Print in Gesso Architectural Frame

I believe this print is a rendition of the Nymphs of the Cortege of Aphrodite (Venus) Dance in Her Honour. It is original to this antique gold gilt gesso architectural frame. The print depicts 10 ladies dancing barefoot, with long flowing colorful robes. There is a scroll across the bottom of the print that is written in Greek. The frame has old flat/square head nails holding the print in place behind glass. The backing bears an old label from Jordan Marsh Picture Galleries, Boston. Frame has pillars/columns and applied floral decorations. There is some loss to the gesso in a few areas that will need a bit of restoration. The visible portion of the print is in beautiful condition. The frame measures 24" long x 13 5/8".Free Domestic Shipping!
