1940's Custom Magohany Cabriole Ball & Claw Foot Stool

We purchased this beautiful hand made cabriole leg, ball and claw foot stool with needlepoint seat cover at a fine Massachusetts auction, originally for use in our own home, but decided not to go with the Victorian style. It is a beautiful piece of hand crafted furniture. The top measures approx. 20" square and the stool stands 17 1/4" tall. The stool is signed "Made by Adolf ----Brookline Mass, to Mrs. Hugh Ogden, 1943, June 5". The seatcover is primarily dark brown with a design of doves and pink roses and other flowers. It is very nicely done, and has no holes or wear. The seat needs some minor reupholstery work (new stuffing, and tightening). The stool is very sturdy and in very fine condition. There are a few little nicks here and there, but nothing distracting whatsover. A beautiful piece of furniture with a Victorian look.Free Domestic Shipping!
